Errol the adventurous little mouse takes to the sky when he meets a young girl, Natasha, playing with a toy airplane. Later, when Errol is left alone, he decides to fly Natasha's toy plane and begins a magical journey that takes him back in time to one night in 1940. He meets up with Dan, a radio operator on a full-sized Hudson bomber, and gets to accompany the crew on their late night, top-secret flight across the Atlantic. When an enemy plane appears over Ireland and threatens the safety of crew and craft, only Errol can save them from disaster.

About The Author

Keating, Laurel: - Laurel Keating is a self-taught and award-winning artist whose illustration work has appeared in several children's books: Yaffle's Journey, Elliot and the Impossible Fish, Moose's Roof, and Full Speed Ahead: Errol's Bell Island Adventure, to name a few. A native Newfoundlander and animal lover, she lives in Portugal Cove, which she has called home all her life.

Lukins, Sheilah: - Sheilah Roberts Lukins lives in St. Philips, NL, with her husband and several garden mice. She has written two non-fiction books for adults and, most recently, her first children's book: Full Speed Ahead: Errol's Bell Island Adventure, winner of the Bruneau Family Children's/YA Award. Her loves include history, horses, dogs, good food, great stories--and of course the occasional mouse.
