Old Miss Fitz buys a farm! "E-I-E-I-O!" And on this farm she has a barn! "E-I-E-I-O!" And in that barn -- can be found the most unusual animals ever known! The "MISFIT" animals include a chicken who plays piano but does not lay eggs; a rooster who walks backward; a buzzard who is a vegetarian and a neat freak; a duck who is afraid of water; and a rootin'-tootin' donkey who boot scoots--just to name a few! Will Miss Fitz allow the mayor and town folks to get away with "disrespecting" her unusual animal friends? AND THEN THERE IS THE BARN FIRE! "E-I-E-I-Ohhh!"

Clifton, Sue Sudi: - SUDI, (Dr. Sue Clifton) is a retired teacher and principal who never retired from her love of children. Sudi is a published author of twelve books with The Wild Rose Press and Double Dragon Publishing, with books in genres including middle school and young adult novels as well as adult fiction and nonfiction. MISFITS is Sudi's first children's book but others will be forthcoming. Sudi lives in Mississippi and Montana with husband Woody.

Selby, Crystal: - CRYSTAL SELBY was born to parents Maury and Paula and was raised in Mississippi along with two younger sisters Leigha and Amanda. Crystal's love of children and animals is evident in her art (Crystal has four dogs, five goats, nine ducks, and "too many chickens to count." Crystal enjoys sharing her talent with her nieces and nephews. Crystal graduated from South Panola High School in 2007, where she excelled in art classes, her favorites. MISFITS is Crystal's first book but she hopes there will be many more in her future.
