Lewis, Kari: - Kari Lewis is a full time art educator in Council Bluffs, IA. She has been doing this for the last 21 years. Kari is also a freelance artist who has been featured in various charity auctions, art sales, exhibitions and competitions throughout the Midwest. She is an active member of O.M.A. Gallery (Old Market Artists) in Omaha, NE. When Kari isn't working on her art or helping students, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 21 years, Chris and her 16 year old son, Jaeger.

West, Diane: - Diane West is an early childhood teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. While attending elementary school, she had the desire to teach, and as she progressed it was honed down to the younger children that she especially enjoys and cherishes. She has been married to Jay for 40 years and they have one son, Jason who also has published several works. It is her hope and desire that this book will delight many children for years to come with giggles, laughter coupled with learning that enhances each child's education as they progress.

West, Jay: - Poodle Lou was the accidental creation of Jay and Diane West as they were driving on a trip and having fun with word games. Jay has also published four other books for adults and youth to be edified and encouraged, including Downloads from Heaven, Willing to Yield, Kingdom Encounters and Well, Well, Well. Jay is a pastor and motivational speaker and a member of the United States National Prayer Council. He hopes children young and old will enjoy Poodle Lou, sparking their imaginations with this adorable cuddly talking dog.
