Aguilar, Solena: - Solena Aguilar is a textile artist and author from San Francisco, CA currently foraging for fabric in Brooklyn, NY. Drawing inspiration from their Nicaraguan and Queer background, Solena works to build community with storytelling and pattern making. Their children's book characters help describe seemingly complex topics in accessible ways to help readers break down prejudice and embrace curiosity. Solena is the creator and illustrator of What Do You Need? /¿Qué Necesitas?, a bilingual children's book about equity and mutual aid. Through storytelling, art exhibitions, murals, and collaborative workshops, Solena works to build community by creating spaces for connection and understanding.

Cañizares-Fernandez, Andrea: - Andrea Cañizares-Fernandez is an artist, actress, writer, and climate justice organizer living in Los Angeles. She is a redhead Ecuadorian-American who grew up in many places, but mostly Austin, Texas. Her debut graphic novel, A LITTLE BIT GRINGA, will be in bookstores in summer of '27 by way of Penguin Randomhouse's Dial Books for Young Readers. Follow her at @byandreacf for her most recent visual art work.

Waller, Aronya: - Aronya Waller is a writer and a community advocate. She wrote "Mama," a fictional young adult narrative about social justice and community action. In addition to her book, she has written articles for various publications and contributed to technical books. Aronya is based in Philadelphia, but her heart is in Belize.
