Questo libro , come dice il titolo, un trattato completo sui transiti. L'argomento viene affrontato iniziando dai primordi, rappresentati dalla Tradizione astrologica consegnataci per la prima volta in modo sistematico da Tolomeo nel suo Tetrabiblos. In primo luogo l'Autore affronta la parte teorica dimostrando in modo argomentato che il "sistema transiti" di per s esaustivo e sufficiente per procedere alla formulazione di previsioni attendibili, senza necessit di ricorso ad altri metodi, come le direzioni primarie, le rivoluzioni solari e le progressioni. Segue poi l'analisi dei significati dei pianeti nella loro qualit di punti emittenti e di punti riceventi, indi si passa alla parte pratica con l'illustrazione di parecchie decine di esempi, riferiti in gran parte (ma non esclusivamente) a uomini politici. L'ultima parte del testo si occupa di fondare le basi di una psicologia della previsione, e la trattazione si conclude con un "ricettario" dedicato al significato analitico dei passaggi planetari, dapprima su un unico punto ricevente (transito semplice), per poi concludere prendendo in esame il transito su un duplice punto ricevente costituito da una congiunzione planetaria (transito composto). Pur consegnando un notevole elenco di interpretazioni analitiche, lo scopo del libro quello di fornire al lettore i mezzi logico-sistematici per impadronirsi del sistema e quindi metterlo in grado di formulare autonomamente le proprie previsioni.
