About the Book This is the second volume of the only collection of court decisions covering exclusively the "constitutional" relationship between the European Community and its Member States. It illustrates this relationship from "both sides" by including over 50 judicial decisions rendered between 1994 and 2001 by the Community's Court of Justice and the courts of all the 15 Member States. Together with the first volume, which covered the period 1962 to 1993, it forms a uniquely comprehensive reference work, containing nearly 150 decisions rendered over a period of 40 years.

About The Author

Oppenheimer, Andrew: - Andrew Oppenheimer is a Fellow of the Lauterpacht Research Centre for International Law and a Research Fellow in European Law at the University of Durham. He is Associate Editor (Civil Law Jurisdictions) of the International Law Reports, a member of the Editorial Board of International Environmental Law Reports and an editorial contributor to European Transport Law. He is a barrister and a legal translator and has carried out extensive research into European Community law at the Universities of Brussels, Cambridge and Durham.
