Brahman a Study on the History of Indian Philosophy by Hervey DeWitt Griswold explores the evolution of Brahman, the ultimate reality in Indian philosophy. The book traces its origins in the Vedic tradition as a cosmic principle and its philosophical development in the Upanishads as the unchanging essence of the universe. The study also compares Brahman’s influence on other Indian systems like Samkhya, Yoga, and Buddhism, offering a comprehensive analysis of its metaphysical significance.
