MAHESH C. JAIN, PhD, is former Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Hindu College, University of Delhi. A life member of the Indian Association of Physics Teachers, he obtained his doctorate in Theoretical Nuclear Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 1971. He has a distinguished academic career spanning more than four decades.
