Lala Lajpat Rai (1865-1928) was a prominent Indian freedom fighter, politician, and author, widely recognized as Lala Lajpat Rai. He earned the popular titles of Punjab Kesari and 'Punjab da Sher,' signifying the 'Lion of Punjab.' His literary works encompassed books such as "The Story of My Deportation" (1908), "Arya Samaj" (1915), "The United States of America: A Hindu’s Impression" (1916), "The Problem of National Education in India" (1920), "Unhappy India" (1928), and "England's Debt to India" (1917). Additionally, he authored biographies of prominent figures like Mazzini, Garibaldi, Shivaji, and Shri Krishna.
