About The Editor: Mahamahopadhyaya T. Gaṇapati Śāstrī (1860–1926) was a distinguished Sanskrit scholar and editor of the Trivandrum Sanskrit Series, renowned for discovering the lost plays of Bhasa. Born in Taruvai, Tirunelveli District, he served as principal of the Sanskrit College in Trivandrum and curator of the Oriental Manuscripts Library. He also edited the Trivandrum edition of the Arthashastra and authored "Bharatanuvarnana." His contributions to architectural texts, particularly MayaMata, have been influential in Vedic studies. He was awarded an honorary Ph.D. by the University of Tübingen in 1924.
