The Last Days of Krishna and the Sons of Pandu, translated by David Price and Nekkeib Khan, presents the final events from the Mahabharata, focusing on the decline of the heroic figures in the epic. The text highlights Krishna's departure from the mortal world, the demise of his dynasty, and the eventual downfall of the Pandavas. This work provides a detailed account of the tragic consequences faced by the central characters after the great war of Kurukshetra, emphasizing themes of fate, righteousness, and the inevitable end of dynasties. The translation offers insights into the concluding moments of these iconic figures from Indian mythology.

David Price (1762–1835) was a Welsh orientalist and East India Company officer, renowned for his scholarly contributions to Persian and Mughal history. His notable works include Chronological Retrospect (1811–1821), a comprehensive history of the Muslim world from Muhammad's death to Akbar's reign, primarily based on Persian sources. He also authored Essay towards the History of Arabia (1824), Memoirs of Emperor Jahangir (1829), and Account of the Siege and Reduction of Chaitur (1831). His posthumous work, Memoirs of the early life and service of a field officer (1839), was published anonymously.
