Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Lost World" achieved instant success upon its release and is considered one of the finest sci-fi stories ever written, setting the standard for all fantasy-adventure tales. Professor George Edward Challenger, a brilliant scientist, makes a groundbreaking discovery that dinosaurs, pterodactyls, ape-men, and other prehistoric creatures still exist. However, skeptics ridicule his claim, demanding proof. Determined to provide evidence, Challenger leads an extraordinary expedition into the Amazonian plateau of South America. Accompanied by his professional rival Professor Summerlee, journalist Edward Malone, and Lord John Roxton, Challenger ventures into the dense, dark, lost world. Will he find the proof he seeks and survive the perilous journey?

Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle (1859-1930) was an exceptionally gifted storyteller. While studying at the University of Edinburgh Medical School from 1876, he started writing. After graduating in 1881, he worked as a surgeon on the steamer Mayumba, traveling to the West African coast. Doyle's most notable achievement was creating the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes and penning stories about him, considered milestones in crime fiction. Holmes, known for his keen sense of justice, exposes social injustices and offers a fair approach in an unfair world. As the most renowned fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes holds the Guinness World Record for being the "most portrayed movie character" in history.
