Johanna Spyris (1827-1901) Heidi-Stoff hat zweifellos Eingang in das kulturelle Ged�chtnis gefunden - ausgehend zun�chst von den beiden Romanen von 1880 und 1881, sp�ter dann durch die Anime-Adaptation von Isao Takahata aus dem Jahr 1974. So ber�hmt Heidi als Figur geworden ist, vergessen sind heute viele andere Figuren aus Spyris zahlreichen und bis in die zweite H�lfte des 20. Jahrhunderts hinein h�ufig nachgedruckten Werken. Was Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts noch Teil von Schulb�chern war, ist heute kaum mehr bekannt. Eine Gesamtwerkausgabe der Werke Johanna Spyris ist nicht vorhanden und auch noch nicht konzipiert. Zwar sind viele Ausgaben, die das Schweizerische Institut f�r Kinder und Jugendmedien (SIKJM) versammelt, mittlerweile auf der Plattform https: //www.e-rara.ch/ digital vorhanden - allerdings nur in unkommentierten Versionen der Erstdrucke. Die Forschung zu Spyri ist generell erst sp�rlich entwickelt und stammt zudem mehrheitlich aus dem Bereich der Kinder- und Jugendliteraturforschung. Spyri hat aber durchaus auch Texte f�r Erwachsene geschrieben, und viele ihrer heute als KJL klassifizierten Texte zeichnen sich durch eine Doppeladressierung an Kinder und Erwachsene aus. Den bisher verengten Blick auf Spyris Werk wollen die vorliegenden Beitr�ge weiten. Denn Spyris Schreiben ist facettenreich und Heidi nur eine von vielen faszinierenden, psychologisch reich ausgestalteten und den Leser: innen in Erinnerung bleibenden Figuren.
