Gesellschafts- entwlirfe werden gemieden, und als Antwort auf die positiven literarischen Utopien muB man im 20. lahrhundert die Gegenutopie verstehen. Sowohl Schriftsteller als auch Leser des 20. lahrhunderts assoziieren die Utopie, ahnlich wie Popper, mit totalitiiren, geschlossenen Gesellschaftssystemen.
