The editor's objects have been to publish previously unprinted material; to offer better texts of poems already printed from inferior manuscripts; to give trustworthy texts of poems that have been printed inaccurately; to bring together texts that are found in scattered and often inaccessible publications; and above all, to represent the lyrical development of the century. Many of the verses are written in archaic English.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
