She is the author of The Genome Generation and Stem Cells: Controversy at the Frontiers of Science. Brian Schmidt is a Laureate Fellow at Australian National University's Mount Stromlo Observatory. His work on the accelerating universe was awarded the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics.
