He served on the Institutional Ethics Committee at ESIC Hospital and Dental College, New Delhi, played pivotal roles as an editorial board member and as a reviewer of medical and social work journals, evaluated the MSW field work at IGNOU and held the distinguished position of a Fellow Member at the Scholars Academic and Scientific Society. His contributions have earned him awards and appreciation from the Government of India, AIIMS, NGOs and other entities. Dr. Kumar has presented papers and delivered lectures at various national and international conferences.
