Tem uma semi-vida curta e sofre um metabolismo de primeira passagem vari�vel. � necess�rio administrar duas ou tr�s vezes por dia, o que resulta numa fraca ades�o dos doentes. Neste trabalho foi feita uma tentativa de formular e avaliar TDDS para liberta��o sustentada delisinopril pelo m�todo de evapora��o de solventes. O baixo peso molecular, a boa permeabilidade e a meia-vida mais curta do f�rmaco tornaram-no um candidato adequado para o desenvolvimento de adesivos transd�rmicos. O principal objetivo da formula��o do sistema transd�rmico foi prolongar o tempo de liberta��o do f�rmaco, reduzir a frequ�ncia de administra��o e melhorar a ades�o do doente. A carateriza��o da compatibilidade foi feita pelo m�todo IR. Utilizando um desenho de 32 factores, foram preparadas nove formula��es utilizando pol�meros hidrof�licos (HPMC) e hidrof�bicos (etilcelulose) juntamente com plastificantes selecionados e melhoradores de permea��o. A membrana de suporte PVA foi utilizada como substrato para verter a solu��o polim�rica. Os adesivos preparados foram avaliados quanto ao aspeto f�sico, espessura.
