Schaposnik, Fidel Arturo: - Fidel Arturo Schaposnik es doctor en física por la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, donde trabaja como profesor y como investigador de la Comisión de Investigaciones Científicas de Buenos Aires. Fue becario del CONICET de Argentina, de la Fundación Marie Curie de Francia y de la Fundación Guggenheim de los Estados Unidos. Fue profesor de la Universidad de París VI, en Francia, e investigador invitado en diversos centros y universidades europeos, latinoamericanos y estadounidenses. Dirigió numerosas tesis de doctorado en física de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, de Buenos Aires y del Instituto Balseiro. Es autor de publicaciones científicas en revistas internacionales en colaboración con más de noventa físicos y matemáticos de todo el mundo. Investiga en el área de la física de partículas y campos, incluidas aplicaciones a la gravitación, la cosmología y la materia condensada.
