Flavia Medina Fermín, nacida en Caracas, Venezuela, el 5 de febrero de 2005, es una artista que comenzó sus estudios de Comunicación Social, mención Periodismo, en la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Desde muy pequeña, encontró en los libros, el dibujo y el cine un refugio y una brújula, intereses que, con el tiempo, se convirtieron en los pilares que sostienen su particular manera de ver el mundo.

Su vida gira en torno a la escritura y la ilustración, y se mueve entre ambas con la misma curiosidad que la lleva a explorar la literatura, el arte, la animación y el diseño automotriz. Su trabajo artístico, tanto en medios tradicionales como digitales, la ha llevado a abrirse camino como ilustradora independiente.

La Flor de Finneas es su primer libro publicado, una obra en la que confluyen su sensibilidad narrativa, su amor por el arte y su deseo de contar historias que hablen de las emociones humanas desde lo más vulnerable y nostálgico.
