A onda kao da ga je samo nebo poslalo, lakonski razbojnik Magnus otima princezu i zahteva pozamasnu otkupninu. Ubedjen da je to laka i brza zarada i ne sluti da ce stvari u potpunost izmaci kontroli. Kralj Klodvig od Hartnussa u tom nemilom dogadjaju vidi priliku da se konačno svi odmore od te neizdrzljive, samozive i drske princeze pa odbija sve razbojnikove zahteve. Magnus je čini se pravio račun bez krčmara pa se tako princezino zatočenistvo produzilo sa jednog dana na nekoliko nedelja a vojnici su dobili strogu naredbu koja glasi: Princezu, ne treba spasiti! Magnus je vrlo brzo shvatio u kakvu se nevolju uvalio pa se pokusava izvuci menjajuci taktiku. Dok svi na dvoru uzivaju Magnus je na ivici strpljenja pa odustaje malo po malo od svojih zahteva. Isprva od zlatnika pa od rubina i brilijanata da bi na kraju on sam kralju nudio novac kako bi se oslobodio od te uzasne napasti zvane Aurelia. Ali kralju ne pada na pamet da primi nazad svoju kci. Uostalom sam je kriv, niko ga nije terao da je otima. Čangrizava princeza polako uvidja da je sve do sada u zivotu činila pogresno i počinje da strepi za svoju sopstvenu buducnost. Uz to zivot u skučenom prostoru trosne kolibe stvara eksplozivnu atmosferu koja ce spojiti dve suparničke strane u jednom zajedničkom cilju. Magnus i Aurelia kuju plan kako da princezu vrate nazad na dvor.lAli stvari ne idu onako kako su se oboje nadali.
