Before long, Marie, a teenage sleuth with sharp instincts, and Marcus Chen, a cybersecurity expert, join the group.

As the motley crew-who come to call themselves The French Quarter Connection-solves complex cases across New Orleans, they encounter colorful characters while solving art heists, busting up terrorist plots, and unraveling historical mysteries. Their cases blend modern crime with the city's rich history and traditions, creating a vibrant narrative that winds through the French Quarter's cobblestone streets to riverboat decks and plantation grounds. The infamous crew soon becomes legendary among both law enforcement and criminals in the Big Easy.

Through every daring turn, stomach-sinking revelation, and heart-pounding chase, the French Quarter Connection uses their distinctive combination of high-tech gadgetry and street-smart intuition to protect their beloved city.

Bertucci, John D.: - John Bertucci, a former television engineer, sports and show producer for 25 years in the city of New Orleans, worked for TV stations and a worldwide ministry. He crafted over 1000 commercials, promotions and programs. He also served as an AVID editor for many of those years in TV production. He started his career at age 21 as a radio announcer at KAGY in Port Sulphur, La, graduated from the university of New Orleans in 1984 was married twice and has four children.After his television career, he married a third time and worked in the IT world as a network administrator for three Louisiana casinos for thirteen years.John has two grown sons living in Baton Rouge and a third older son in North Carolina. His daughter Jessica, is a Television Show Producer in New York City, and he has one grandchild whom he loves named Rowen. John resides in Baton Rouge with his wife.
