About The Author

Salley-Massie, Maegwen: - MAEGWEN SALLEY-MASSIE is the author of The Emerald Queen Rises and its forthcoming sequels. She grew up in the Pee Dee Low Country of South Carolina with her loving parents and sister. Her childhood was spent mainly outdoors building forts, riding horses, playing capture the flag, riding ATVs, and playing volleyball. She began writing The Emerald Queen Rises during the pandemic as therapy. She is a woven polypropylene specialist by day and a fantasy fiction author by night. Her favorite food is sushi, and she loves to travel the world. Maegwen currently lives in Myrtle Beach, SC, with her husband, Kyle, and their cat, Khaleesi.
