El Timple Solista Vol.1 propone una progresiva secuenciación de contenidos y actividades de aprendizaje para el timple desde la iniciación hasta un nivel elemental de tipo medio. Proporciona nociones básicas de lenguaje musical, necesarias para su seguimiento y cuidados acompañamientos de guitarra. A todo esto, se añaden 93 pistas de audio en mp3 (audio descargable), que corresponden a otros tantos ejercicios incluidos en el método. Es de destacar los valiosos consejos didácticos que acompañan a cada ejercicio y la cuidada maquetación a todo color, que integra: gráficos, fotos, pentagramas y texto.

BIOGRAFÍA DEL AUTOR:
Juan José Monzón Gil es Profesor Superior de Guitarra y Experto Universitario en Métodos y Recursos de Educación Musical. Asimismo, es Profesor de Enseñanza Secundaria (Especialidad de Música). En el ámbito profesional ha sido Director de la Escuela Municipal de Música de Valsequillo de Gran Canaria. Ha trabajado como Asesor en un centro del profesorado. En la actualidad dirige y coordina la Red de Enseñanza del Timple, un proyecto para introducir el timple en las aulas de los centros educativos de Canarias, ejerciendo como técnico del Servicio de Innovación Educativa de la Consejería de Educación, Universidades, Cultura y Deportes del Gobierno de Canarias. Como intérprete, graba y presenta el Cd serAyre, a dúo de timple y guitarra. Además, es coautor de la novela histórica El reloj de Elwinga (2019) y Director del documental La Sima del Olvido.
