About The Author

Arnold, Darrell: - Darrell Arnold est philosophe et musicien. Pendant son travail de thèse de philosophie en Allemagne à la fin des années 1990 et au début des années 2000, il a enregistré quatre CD et est parti régulièrement en tournée avec ses groupes en Europe. Les moments phares de sa carrière musicale consistent essentiellement dans deux tournées: l'une en tant que groupe d'ouverture pour les Yardbirds, et la seconde lors de concerts sur des festival avec Eric Burden and the New Animals, Alvin Lee et Canned Heat. Son enregistrement le plus récent, avant le disque accompagnant ce livre, est Un monde qui change, produit par Jack Shawde.Les travaux universitaires de Darrell se concentrent sur les théories socio-politique. Il a traduit la philosophie de l'allemand chez Cambridge University Press et Columbia University Press et a édité des volumes axés sur la théorie sociale avec Routledge et Palgrave MacMillan.

Gapkovska, Irena: - Irena est une artiste peintre qui s'inspire de la vie et de les expériences. Je suis une artiste plasticienne macédonienne donc l'influence byzantine s'exprime de façon prononcée dans mon travail. Mes représentations sont généralement de style plutôt surréaliste et je me concentre sur la figure humaine de manière symbolique. En utilisant l'esthétique de l'art macédonien ancien pour exprimer la spiritualité des sujets, je fais le lien entre les réalités abstraites et figuratives- en les combinant de manière authentique avec une approche intellectuelle pour créer une histoire visuelle unique. Avant de fonder de NGO Art Studio à Skopje, en Macédoine, en 1998, Irena a été graphiste pour le journal Elena et pour le magazine Nova Makedonija, elle a reçu un prix national pour la meilleure illustration artistique et a obtenu une maîtrise en arts graphiques de l'Académie des beaux-arts de l'Université St. Kyril Methodiy de Skopje. Outre son atelier à Skopje, elle a travaillé à Miami pendant dix ans jusqu'en 2018, date à laquelle elle a déménagé à Perpignan, en France. Elle joue de l'harmonica Hohner Blues.
