Intended as a handy reference reading for the students of Computer Science and Engineering and Computer Applications, the book delves on the concepts of Human–Computer Interface/Interaction in a bulleted format. Divided into nine chapters and three Appendices, the book has been organized as per the course structure of any University/College. The chapters emphasize on both developmental processes and techniques involved in Human–Computer Interaction. A separate chapter has been devoted to Universal Design, which is the process to reach out to the maximum number of people with their design requirements.

The topics are further elaborated with diagrams and flowcharts, to help make the learning process more illustrative. Appendices to the book are an extension to focus on topics that are relevant to learn concepts of Human–Computer Interaction.

S.A. KELKAR, Ph.D. (Michigan, USA), is an Adjunct Professor at the National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai. Earlier, he was an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai. At present he also works as a Professor of Computer Engineering, at KKWIER, Nashik. He has over 40 years of teaching experience in the field of software technology, information systems, and research methodology. Earlier he taught as a full timer at IITB, Mumbai, NIBM, Mumbai, and NITIE, Mumbai. His industry experience comes from TCS, Aptech, and Voltas. He has also been a visiting faculty for thirty years for several programs conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
