L'�tude a �valu� le syst�me de surveillance environnementale du poliovirus dans le Grand Lom� entre janvier et d�cembre 2022, couvrant trois sites de pr�l�vement. La m�thodologie a combin� une approche transversale descriptive avec l'analyse exhaustive des �chantillons collect�s, compl�t�e par des interviews des acteurs, des observations directes et l'examen minutieux des archives et bases de donn�es existantes. Le traitement des donn�es a mobilis� les logiciels Epi Info 7.2.5.0(R) et Excel 2010(R), tandis que l'�valuation s'appuyait sur les r�f�rentiels du CDC d'Atlanta (2001) et du plan d'action mondial pour la poliomy�lite 2022-2024. Les indicateurs cl�s analys�s incluaient la fid�lit� op�rationnelle du syst�me ainsi que sept attributs essentiels: simplicit�, acceptabilit� par les parties prenantes, flexibilit� op�rationnelle, repr�sentativit� g�ographique, r�activit� face aux alertes, sensibilit� de d�tection et qualit� globale des donn�es produites. Les r�sultats r�v�lent une excellente compl�tude des collectes (100% des pr�l�vements programm�s r�alis�s) et une ponctualit� remarquable des op�rations de terrain (100% pour deux sites, 95,83% pour le troisi�me). Concernant la cha�ne logistique, 45,10% des �chantillons parvenaient au laboratoire r�f�rent dans les 3 jours prescrits, tandis que 40,85% y arrivaient dans un d�lai de 6 jours. La transmission des r�sultats aux autorit�s sanitaires affichait une performance optimale (100%). L'analyse virologique a d�tect� des ent�rovirus non polio � des taux variables selon les sites: 41,67% � C�b�vito Gakpoto, 45,83% � Hollando Plage et 30,43% � Adakpame Sawleto, avec un taux moyen de d�tection du poliovirus sauvage de 7%. Ces donn�es d�montrent que le syst�me d�ploie une fid�lit� op�rationnelle �lev�e au plan de surveillance, tout en pr�sentant une utilit� pratique, une bonne acceptabilit� locale, une flexibilit� d'adaptation et une repr�sentativit� satisfaisante. Cependant, sa complexit� organisationnelle, une sensibilit� de d�tection moyenne et une stabilit� perfectible soulignent la n�cessit� d'un renforcement cibl�, notamment par une implication accrue des services municipaux d'assainissement.
