Felicia Penza is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and graphic designer based in Phoenix, Arizona. Her work explores storytelling in many forms. Through visual art, performance, design, and writing that is often centered on themes of family, belonging, and emotional connection. Across mediums, she is drawn to stories that help people feel seen and understood.
"I Will Always Choose You" grew from her experience as a mother and her belief that family is defined not only by biology, but by love, care, and the people who choose us throughout our lives. This
book marks her first children's publication.
Laura is a children's book illustrator, character designer, and educator specializing in character design.
Originally from Romania, Laura has been passionate about art since high school and university. In 2019, she fully transitioned into illustration, a path that gave her work deeper meaning and a strong sense of purpose.
Laura's art focuses on creating inclusive, expressive characters inspired by the world around us. She loves exploring different cultures, observing real people, and translating those influences into vibrant, relatable designs. Representation and storytelling sit at the heart of everything she creates.
