Dr. Miguel �ngel N��ez, a couples therapist and family specialist, international speaker, and writer, adds this book to his vast literary production. It is a mix of autobiography and a professional analysis of a topic that has reached global epidemic proportions. We live, as one author puts it, in the "century of narcissism," probably because the conditions are ripe for the worst fears of yesteryears to come true in the lives of those who, as a defense mechanism at first and as a way of life afterward, simply did not know how to stop in time and seek help to escape a problem that reaches tragic proportions. The author lives in Spain with his wife, near his two married children and his beloved four grandchildren. He has published more than 90 books.
