The Fountain of Self-Love, also known as Cynthia's Revels, is a play written by Ben Jonson in 1601. The play is a satirical comedy that follows the story of a young courtier named Crites, who is obsessed with himself and his own appearance. He spends his days primping and preening, and his nights attending lavish parties and revels.The play is set in the court of Queen Elizabeth I, and features a cast of characters that includes poets, courtiers, and ladies-in-waiting.
