Die beginnende Industrialisierung, der Aufbruch traditioneller famili�rer und institutioneller Strukturen und die zunehmende S�kularisierung hatten eine zunehmende Orientierungslosigkeit vornehmlich des B�rgertums zur Folge. Unter dem Schlagwort der Lebensphilosophie bildete sich eine philosophische Richtung, die sich gegen den aufkl�rerischen Rationalismus und die Erkenntnistheorie, sowie gleichzeitig gegen den deutschen Idealismus und Positivismus wendete. Insbesondere Schopenhauer, Dilthey und Nietzsche waren Vertreter dieser Philosophie, die das Irrationale, die Triebe und Emotionen des Menschen in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Friedrich Nietzsche bot mit seiner Philosophie Perspektiven in zweifacher Hinsicht an. Zum einen bot er einen Gegenentwurf zu den Erl�sungs- und Heilsvorstellungen der Religion an. Zum anderen entwickelte er eine Utopie der Selbstverantwortung des Menschen (repr�sentiert durch den �bermenschen). "Also sprach Zarathustra" sollte eine revolution�re Gesellschaftsver�nderung ausl�sen, und den Menschen eine Alternative aufzeigen. Jedoch soll sich die vorliegende Hausarbeit nicht mit der vielf�ltigen Rezeption und Wirkungsgeschichte Nietzsches auseinandersetzen, die, wie Salaquarda feststellt, in gro en Teilen mit der Kulturgeschichte des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts zusammenf�llt. Vielmehr sollen die origin�ren Ideen Nietzsches mit Hilfe einer werkimmanenten Interpretation von "Also sprach Zarathustras" analysiert und erkl�rt werden. Dies beinhaltet die gro en Themen der ewigen Wiederkehr, des Willens zur Macht, sein Konzept des �bermenschen und die Rolle der menschlichen Moral.
