Weitere Aufsatze und Vortrage zu ontologischen Problemen der Gemeinschaft, zu dem Verstandnis sozialer und politischer Institutionen und dem Feld der Humantechnologien sowie drei private Reflexionen zur politischen und seinsgeschichtlichen Situation aus den 1930er, 1940er und 1950er Jahren zeigen Fink als sozialphilosophischen und politischen Denker. Ausgangspunkt von Finks sozialphilosophischem und anthropologischem Denken ist die Frage nach grundlegenden Strukturen der Selbstdeutung und nach den konstitutiven Bedingungen und Moglichkeiten der inter-personalen Lebenspraxis. Aus diesen Strukturen des Handelns und Denkens entwickelt er eine Hermeneutik der unterschiedlichen Erfahrungsdimensionen menschlicher Existenz und verbindet dabei phanomenologische Analyse und Dekonstruktion mit einer hermeneutischen Untersuchung von Selbst- und Weltbildern - stets mit der Frage, wie wir hier ein kritisches Verhaltnis zu den operativen Begrifflichkeiten unserer mehr als 2000-jahrigen Denktradition gewinnen konnen.
