About The Author

Worley, Gordon Seidoh: - Gordon is an author, programmer, and researcher. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, where he published papers in quantum information theory and graph theory, he moved to San Francisco and worked at several startups, founded an AI safety org, and managed a semi-academic group blog. He regularly publishes posts on Uncertain Updates and LessWrong, and his current work is focused on how to bring insights from the study of epistemology and Zen practice to build compassionate, safe AI.
