Born in Paris, he emigrated to the USA in 1939 and moved
to the Big Apple in 1948. Since then, up until his death, his camera has been
his constant companion as he roamed the streets of the cosmopolitan city.

black and white photographs taken over the course of his entire career. For the
first time, 16 new pages give readers an insight into previously unpublished
images from the 50s and 60s, allowing them to immerse themselves in a New York
