About The Book

En los últimos años de mi vida profesional como médico decidí realizar mi sueño de la juventud que era estudiar Bellas Artes. La Fotografía siempre fue una de mis pasiones. Durante los años de estudios de Grado de Bellas Artes en las Universidades de Valencia y Barcelona, a pesar de la buena calidad de la enseñanza, echaba en falta algún acicate profesaral.

Por ello, y porque he contado con la coautoría de mi hijo Helio Valero Pérez (Graduado en Comunicación Audiovisual) que, aunque va a tope en Punt de gir, ha querido participar en llevar a cabo este proyecto. Hemos tratado de profundizar en el estudio y experiencia fotográfica y videográfica. Se han aprovechado conocimientos de mi libro Principios de color y holopintura publicado hace algunos años. Ha sido necesario comprar bastantes libros, revistas, cámaras fotográficas (buena parte de ellas profesionales) y smartphones actuales, leer una gran cantidad de artículos y ver muchos vídeos de internet.

Nuestro propósito es enseñarte el manejo y funcionamiento de la cámara, el objetivo, el obturador, el sensor, los programas de edición de imágenes; qué, cómo, cuándo y dónde debemos grabar o fotografiar. Un recorrido completo de todo lo que necesita saber un buen fotógrafo desde los conceptos básicos, para comprender en profundidad tanto la técnica como el arte fotográfico y, por tanto, poder afrontar cualquier proyecto de captura de imágenes, composición, edición, flujo de trabajo, iluminación, procesamiento, postproducción, impresión y publicación.

Y también, transmitir a todos los lectores, fotógrafos o amantes de la fotografía muchos acicates confidenciales (tips), sin olvidarnos de lo más importante, que es, divertirse y disfrutar haciendo fantásticas fotografías o vídeos con las nuevas y prodigiosas cámaras o smartphones de última generación que presentamos, que estamos seguros, no encontrarás en ningún otro libro.
