About The Author

Harry, Debbie: - Deborah Ann "Debbie" Harry is an American singer-songwriter and actress, best known as the lead singer of the new wave and punk rock band Blondie.

Occhiogrosso, Peter: - Peter Occhiogrosso has authored or coauthored more than 20 books over the past 30 years, including Frank Zappa's autobiography. He served as music editor at the Soho Weekly News for much of the time Allan Tannenbaum was Photo Editor, and wrote extensively on music for other publications as well. He lives in Woodstock, NY.

Tannenbaum, Allan: - Allan Tannenbaum's career in photography spans more than four decades. His first work as a professional photographer was in 1973 for the SoHo Weekly News, and he remained with that paper until it folded in 1982. He now works as an international photojournalist contributing to various magazines, as well as design firms and advertising agencies. He also shoots portraits and serves as a contributing photographer for many noted publications including Time, Life, and Newsweek. He is the author of two books of his photography, New York in the 70s and New York.
