They explain how to copy holograms; describe special techniques and applications; and discuss potential uses for holography, including the use of holograms in movies, television, and data storage. They also present some basic setups for making holograms and show readers how to create their own -- using little more than simple photographic equipment and an inexpensive laser. Two appendixes give advice on laser safety and list sources of material and further information.
