About The Author

Neo Overstreet wurde im Jahre 1979 in Gelsenkirchen geboren. Von 1985-1998 besuchte er die Freie Waldorfschule in Gladbeck. Hier schrieb er auch seine ersten Gedichte. Im Jahre 1998 beendete er die Schule mit der allgemeinen Hochschulreife. Von 1999-2000 diente er als Feldjäger bei der Bundeswehr in Koblenz. Im Oktober des Jahres 2000 begann er sein Studium an der Fachhochschule für Rechtspflege und Verwaltung in Hannoversch Münden. Er beendete das Studium drei Jahre später als Diplom Verwaltungswirt FH und Polizeikommissar im gehobenen Polizeivollzugsdienst des Landes Niedersachsen. Neben dem Schreiben ist er als Schlagzeuger in verschiedenen Bands und Musikprojekten aktiv, Gedichte waren und sind für ihn seit vielen Jahren künstlerisches Medium, Hobby und Eigentherapie. Bei dem Spiel mit Worten findet er Ruhe, Ausgeglichenheit und Entspannung und kann zum Ausdruck bringen, was sein kleines Leben bewegt.
