La th�matique centr�e sur l'Afrique et la paix ne semblait pas aller de soi. D'abord parce que les visions et les discours sur l'Afrique sont (trop) souvent pessimistes et n�gatifs, dressant le portait d'un continent n'augurant d'aucune perspective encourageante. Ensuite, parce que le concept de paix ne semble pas �tre accoutum� au continent au regard des nombreuses zones de tensions actuelles qui t�moignent pour le moins de la persistance de guerres et conflits violents qui semblent en devenir une caract�ristique incontournable.
Pour autant, cet ouvrage, fruit d'un colloque tenu � Dijon en septembre 2023, invite � travers une perspective pluridisciplinaire, � revisiter la th�matique pour donner � voir d'autres pistes, d'autres perspectives de sorte que la paix ne soit plus n�gativement repr�sent�e mais positivement mise en oeuvre, avant, pendant et apr�s les p�riodes de tensions.
Conjuguant leurs efforts, trois instances (CREDESPO, CREDIMI, IPP) ont r�uni des chercheurs mais aussi des praticiens de la paix pour apporter de nouveaux �clairages et envisager les conditions d'une paix qui soit durable et non un moment entre deux guerres.
