Konstantin Sigow ist ein ukrainischer Philosoph, dem der konkrete Mensch besonders wichtig ist: Du, ich, der Andere und die W�rde jeder Person als Grundlage "unserer und eurer" solidarischen Freiheit. Die Ukraine k�mpft seit 2014 mit hohen Verlusten f�r "das Recht der anderen, Menschen zu sein" - auch f�r Dich und mich, denn der Kampf f�r die Freiheit und der Widerstand gegen Tyrannei �berschreiten die Grenzen Osteuropas: "Es geht um die Gef�hrdung der Grundwerte der ganzen europ�ischen Kultur." About The Author

Sigow, Konstantin: -

Dr. Konstantin Sigow, Jahrgang 1962, studierte Philosophie in Kyjiw und Paris. Er ist Gründungsdirektor des renommierten ukrainischen Wissenschaftsverlags Duch i LiteraD (Geist und Buchstabe) sowie des Zentrums für Geisteswissenschaftliche Europastudien der Kyjiwer Mohyla-Akademie. Sigow hielt Gastvorträge u.a. in Oxford, Stanford, Zürich und Berlin sowie Rom. 2024 verlieh ihm die Universität Aix-Marseille die Ehrendoktorwürde. Zu Sigows letzten Büchern gehören Quand l'Ukraine se lève r(Talents Edition 2022), Le courage de l'Ukraine (Cerf 2023) und Poselství z Kyjeva o Ukrajině a Evropě (Bourdon 2023). Seine Artikel erschienen u.a. in Le Monde, Le Figaro, Libération, Esprit, Le Grand Continent, Rue Descartes, Limes, Enthymema, Hermes, Reflexe, Temps Modernes, Sententiae und Studies in East European Thought.
