Blending political theory, psychology, and cultural analysis, this book introduces a powerful framework built around two core concepts: gheyrat and bigheyrati. Through this lens, this thesis explores how historical trauma, post-9/11 stigma, propaganda, and decades of geopolitical pressure have reshaped the Iranian psyche both at home and abroad. Drawing on thinkers like Jalal Al-e Ahmad, Reza Zia-Ebrahimi and Vilfredo Pareto, Please Bomb My Country situates diaspora behavior within broader cycles of power, identity, and elite manipulation. It argues that under the combined forces of capitalist modernity, sanctions, migration, and media narratives, many Iranian diasporans have found themselves caught between shame and survival, hyper-aware of external perception yet increasingly detached from collective belonging. The result is a paradox: a population willing, at times, to sacrifice its own homeland's stability in exchange for recognition, legitimacy, or escape.
