His academic career is filled with numerous visits to foreign universities, such as the University of California (Santa Barbara, US), Leipzig University, the University of Latvia, the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, the Siauliai University, as well as the Fraunhofer MOEZ Institute in Leipzig.
