Dr. Nishtha Kaushiki is an Assistant Professor with the Department of South and Central Asian Studies at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda. She is an alumnus of JNU, wherein she pursued MA in Politics (International Studies) & PhD from the Centre for East Asian Studies. Her subject for PhD relates to “Contributions of Japanese Foreign Aid & Development Assistance to India”. Dr Nishtha has been a recipient of ‘ASEAN Fellowship’ from the Japan Foundation. Her research interests lie is Geopolitics & apart from writing several articles on contemporary National security issues and concerns, she has guided several Doctoral and M. Phil students at the Central University.
