Helen Christen ist Professorin für Germanische Philologie an der Universität Freiburg/Schweiz. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Dialektologie und Soziolinguistik.

Sibylle Germann arbeitet als Assistentin am Departement für Germanistik der Universität Freiburg. Zur Zeit beschäftigt sie sich im Rahmen ihrer Dissertation mit dem Thema Bezeichnungswandel im Kontext der 'Political Correctness'.
