English summary: Jungian methods in applied psychotherapy are experiencing a renaissance: Imagination techniques belong to the standard repertoire, the inclusion of fairy tales is regarded as an important method and Jungian dream considerations extend classic concepts with essential aspects. Nevertheless, not all therapists can gain training in Jungian psychoanalysis. A compromise is the deep integration of Jungian thinking and the resulting methods in the previous therapeutic work. This book should help this process. German description: Jungianische Methoden erleben in der angewandten Psychotherapie eine Renaissance: Imaginationstechniken gehoren zum Standardrepertoire vieler psychodynamisch ausgebildeter Kollegen, die Einbeziehung von Marchen gilt besonders bei "schwierigen" Patienten als wichtige Methode, und jungianische Traumbetrachtungen erweitern klassische Konzepte um unverzichtbare Aspekte. Trotzdem konnen oder wollen sich nicht alle Therapeuten einer Ausbildung in jungianischer Psychoanalyse unterziehen. Ein Kompromiss ist die fundierte Integration jungianischen Denkens und der daraus abgeleiteten Methoden in die bisherige therapeutische Arbeit. Dem soll dieses Buch dienen. Die zweite Auflage wurde uberarbeitet und in einigen Aspekten erweitert.

Contributor Biography - English Professor Dr. Ralf T. Vogel is a psychoanalyst and behaviour therapist, training analyst and supervisor at different psychotherapeutic training institutes and Honorary Professor of Psychology and Psychoanalysis at the University of Fine Arts in Dresden. In Ingolstadt, he is active in private practice of psychotherapy and supervision. Contributor Biography - German Prof. Dr. phil. Ralf T. Vogel ist Psychoanalytiker und Verhaltenstherapeut, Lehranalytiker und Supervisor an verschiedenen psychotherapeutischen Ausbildungsinstituten und Honorarprofessor fur Psychotherapie und Psychoanalyse an der Hochschule fur Bildende Kunste in Dresden. In Ingolstadt ist er in privater Praxis fur Psychotherapie und Supervision tatig.
