Daarnaast staan er tips en uitleg voor ouders in dit werkboek. Deze tekst voor ouders is in dit boek te herkennen aan de'Tips voor ouders'. Meestal volgen gezinnen dit programma bij een therapeut die opgeleid is in cognitieve gedragstherapie. De therapeut zal elke week vertellen wat te lezen en welke oefeningen te doen. De therapeut helpt uw kind op weg om zo goed mogelijk te oefenen, en wat het en u kunnen doen als iets moeilijk gaat.
