Der Grad der erreichbaren Sprachvollendung und Diktion ist verschieden. C. Stammeln Yom Stammeln ist sowohl bei den durch Horsttirung begiinstigten Sprach- veranderungen wie bei der verzogerten Sprachentwicklung schon die Rede gewesen. Man versteht darunter die Unfiibigkeit, bestimmte Laute oder Lautverbindungen richtig zu bilden oder in die fliefJende Rede richtig ein- zubauen. Jedes Kind macht wahrend seiner Sprachentwicklung in den ersten 3-4 Lebensjahren eine Periode physiologischen Stammelns durch (S. 29). Erst wenn bestimmte Aussprachefehler tiber diese Zeit hinaus be- stehen bleiben, kann man von krankhaftem Stammeln sprechen. Die Aus- sprachefehler, die sich nicht nur auf einzelne Laute, sondem auch auf Silben und Worter erstrecken konnen, verschwinden manchmal noch in den ersten Schuljahren, konnen aber auch bis ins spatere Lebensalter bei- behalten werden. AuBer dem a, das als einfacher Selbsdaut so gut wie nie verfehlt wird, konnen samtliche Vokale und Konsonanten fehlen oder falsch gebildet werden.
