Fragen der gedächtnismä igen Repräsentation von Wissen stehen gegenwärtig im Zentrum des Forschungsinteresses von Kognitionspsychologie, Künstlicher Intelligenz-Forschung und Lehr-Lern-Forschung. Sichtbaren Ausdruck findet dieses Forschungsinteresse in der gro en Zahl derzeit bestehender Wissens- repräsentationssysteme. Kennzeichnendes Merkmal der theoretischen Sy- steme ist die Auffassung, da gedächtnismä ig repräsentiertes Wissen struk- turiertes Wissen darstellt (Wissen hat Struktur). Qualitative Unterschiede in der individuellen Wissensorganisation sind danach von entscheidender Be- deutung für die Informationsverarbeitung. Sucht man allerdings nach geeig- neten diagnostischen Verfahren zur Erfassung qualitativer Aspekte indivi- dueller Wissensstrukturen, so wird rasch deutlich, da bestehende Diagnose- verfahren wissenstheoretischen Erkenntnissen nicht gerecht werden. Die in- tensive Beschäftigung der Forschung mit Fragen der Theoriebildung hat die Entwicklung theorieorientierter Diagnoseinstrumente bisher kaum beeinflu t. Auf mögliche Methoden zur Erfassung von Wissensstrukturen wird zwar gele- gentlich hingewiesen, ihre Zuordnung zu theoretischen Modellen der Wissens- repräsentation bleibt jedoch gewöhnlich im dunkeln. Mit der vorliegenden Arbeit wird der Versuch unternommen, bestehende theo- retische und methodische Ansätze zur Erfassung und Repräsentation von Wis- sensstrukturen konstitutiv aufeinander zu beziehen. Hierzu werden jeweils zunächst theoretische Modelle der Wissensrepräsentation innerhalb eines be- stimmten Grundansatzes dargestellt und unter dem Aspekt ihrer Implikationen für die Bearbeitung wissensdiagnostischer Fragestellungen kritisch disku- tiert und bewertet. Daran anschlie end erfolgt jeweils eine exemplarische Darstellung derjenigen methodischen Zugangsweisen zur Erfassung von Wis- sensstrukturen, die den theoretischen Modellvorstellungen entsprechen. Im Kontext der Diskussion bestehender theoretischer Grundansätze der Erfassung und Repräsentation von Wissensstrukturen werde dabei offene theoretische und methodelogische Fragen behandelt sowie Probleme und Perspektiven einer theorieorientierten Diagnose von Wissensstrukturen aufgezeigt.
