Yom 24. -26. Februar 1983 fand in Hamburg del' XII. Seminar- kongreB fill' Psychosomatische Probleme in del' Gynakologie und Geburtshilfe statt. Veranstalter waren die Deutsche Sektion fill' Psychosomatische Geburtshilfe und Gyniikologie und die UniversiHits-Frauenklinik Hamburg-Eppendorf. Nach GieBen, Mainz und Freiburg wurde damit zum vier ten Mal ein neuer Ort fill' diese jahrlich stattfindende Tagung gewahlt, die sich fill' die tagliche Arbeit des Gynakologen als nutzliche Fortbildungsveran- staltung erwiesen hat. Das Interesse war in diesem Jahr auBeror- dentlich groB: Nahezu 600 Interessenten meldeten sich an, uber- wiegend Gynakologen, abel' auch Ante anderer medizinischer Disziplinen und klinisch tatige Psychologen. Da die Arbeit in Gruppen auch in diesem Jahr neben den Vortragen wieder einen breiten Raum einnehmen sollte, war eine Beschrankung auf 300 Teilnehmer notwendig. Fur die Herausgeber dieses Bandes, die die Tagung im wesentlichen gestaltet und organisiert haben, war diese Beschrankung sichel' eben so bedauerlich wie fill' die vielen Interes- senten, die sich abgewiesen gefuhlt haben. Dennoch bleibt das starke Interesse ein erfreuliches Zeichen fill' alle, die die Entwick- lung dieses Gebietes in den letzten 10-20 Jahren miterlebt und aufmerksam verfolgt haben. Es zeigt, daB die psychosomatische Arbeitsweise weiterhin an Verb rei tung zunimmt - sichel' ein Hin- weis auf das wachsende Bedurfnis del' Gynakologen, in del' tagli- chep Praxis befriedigender auf die Probleme ihrer Patientinnen eingehen zu k6nnen. Del' vorliegende Band enthalt neben den Referenten einige neue Beitrage.
