Very few of us understand money in its totality and true essence. The book presents a wholesome perspective about money and how to handle it with due care and prudence, without developing an obsession for it. The approaches suggested here are simple and practical for a common investor to comprehend and follow. The purpose of investment is to develop adequate financial security by way of wealth creation, that eventually leads to freedom all of us aspire for. The route to the freedom from money, therefore, is through the money—you have got to be in total control of your finances to be eventually free from money. The ideas presented here are simple yet insightful, and often question the conventional wisdom on logical grounds while offering a more rational explanation for practical use by common people and ground level professionals alike.

Dr Rajiv K. Tayal, B.E., M.E., Ph.D., and Diploma in Project Management, has a long and distinguished professional career of forty years in industry and government in techno-managerial roles across multifaceted functions of policy framework, scientific research, innovation and technology development, and commercialization. He is a Certified Assessor for ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems, Certified Assessor/Trainer for Laboratory Accreditation Systems, and Certified Assessor for Environment Management Systems.
